Ahead of the two-legged Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers clash against Libya, a total of sixteen players are presently in the camp of the Super Eagles in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.

The arrival of Ogenyi Onazi, Kenneth Omeruo, Oghenekaro Etebo, Wilfred Ndidi and Henry Onyekuru increased the number in camp ahead of today’s first training session.

More players are however expected to arrive the camp before the training session, and all invited players are expected in camp before the end of today, following earlier reports.

Key players including the preferred centre-back pairing of William Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun are in camp and the arrival of the midfield quartet of Alex Iwobi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ogenyi Onazi, Wilfred Ndidi and John Ogu will take part in this evening’s first training session.

Nigeria plays Libya in the first leg on October 14, before a trip to Tunisia three days later to face the Libyan team in a make or break encounter.
