As the year 2018 gradually draws to close, European clubsides have started mapping out plans ahead of the January transfer window which would see players and managers move from one team to another.
Reports making the round suggest that Manchester City is said to be plotting a world-record 200million Pounds move for French wonderkid, Kylian Mbappe, in January.
According to reports, the move would beat the fee Paris St. Germain paid Barcelona for Neymar in 2017 and Pep Guardiola believes the 19-year-old can take the club to Champions League glory. Mbappe has also been linked with European giants, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s future at Manchester United continues to be the topic of speculation following the team’s poor start to the season. The under-fire manager is resigned to his fate and is convinced club officials have reached out to former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane, to replace him. It has also been speculated that Mourinho’s precarious position has left 12 players unsure of their futures, with the likes of David De Gea, Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw all in the final year of their deals.
Also, Alexis Sanchez’s future at Manchester United is said to be in serious doubt as the 29-year-old forward was stunned after he failed to make the bench for the disastrous defeat at West Ham, and there is a feeling he regrets his move to Old Trafford in January.
In the meantime, Liverpool will lead the chase for Arsenal midfielder, Aaron Ramsey. It is widely claimed that Jurgen Klopp attempted to sign the 27-year-old during the last transfer window and will return to try again. The Welshman has also been linked with Juventus and AC Milan.
