It’s an annually held event, the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA), a lot of celebrities showed up, a lot were nominated and many won big at the 6th annual AMVCA event which was held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island in Lagos Nigeria.

More than 120 celebrities were nominated for 27 categories, film makers, directors, actresses and actors came from different African countries including Ghana, Malawi, South Africa, Kenya and of course Nigeria.

Almost all the heavyweights in the Africa movie industry showed up to battle it out in all the 27 categories.

Popular Singers; Adekunle Gold, Cobhams Asuquo and Falz thrilled stars with their performances, senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi west and senator Enyinnaya Abaribe representing Abia South Senatorial district were present at the event.

AMVCA is an annually held event presented by Multichoice and Africa magic, it honours and recognises both film and television talent accross Africa.
