KENYAN PRESIDENT: I Now Understand What Trump Meant by “Some African Countires Are A Sh*tholes”

The Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta supposes the US president, Donald Trump really wants to do business with Africa because he understands Africa better than anyone.

Pertaining to the sh*thole comment he made in January 2018, he said it’s nothing to go by because he now understands him.

During the course of the Kenyan president’s visit to White House on Monday, he was in talks with the US president, their discussion was based on trade and security, he claimed he now has a better and deeper understanding of what his US counterpart, Donald Trump meant when he said that some African countries are sh*tholes.

Trump also used the same derogatory statement in reference to Caribbean countries, emphasizing on Haiti whose citizens are migrating to the US for greener pastures.

Uhuru Kenyatta was in an interview immidiately after his historic visit with the US president at the White House, he was asked his verdicts on Trump’s shi*thole comments about Africa, this is what he said.

“Let me put it to you this way, what we need to do is basically create a better understanding (of Donald Trump) of the situation and I think I had an opportunity to really do that today.

“I will say he is man who is ready to listen and he listened…He has a much better understanding of Africa and of Kenya after our session. He is basically a man who wants to do deals.” responded Uhuru Kenyatta.

The US president’s ‘sh*thole’ comments in January 2018 irked a section of African nations which includes Nigeria, demanded the US President expounded on them as they felt they were shot to demean Africa on racial lines.

The spokesman to the Kenyan government, Erick Kirathie, has also set the record straight concerning the issue, stating that the Kenyan goverment had no issue with the remarks.

Among the people that asked Trump to retract his statement were NASA leader Raila Odinga because he was disturbed.

The African Union Commission was also alarmed by Trumps reference to African immigrants reffering them as contemptuous through its spokesperson, Ebba Kalondo.
