As shared on facebook by Alebe Joshua Onos. Ozoro the headquarters of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria was today 4th July, 2018 turned into dark Wednesday as one Mr. Adesco of about 65years old and a famous hunter allegedly shot his Son’s wife to death and killed himself.
The incident which resulted in grounding business and social activities over three hours in Erovie quarters Ozoro Kingdom as indigenes rushed to the scene to have an eye clip of the incident which is against the norms and folkways of Isoko Nations.
A reliable source who pleaded anonymity, said that the incident occurred in the afternoon of Wednesday July 4, 2018, at Erovie quarters of Ozoro kingdom and that the deceased Mr. Apesco is an indigene of Ozoro and his late Son’s wife is an indigene of Aradhe/ Ovrode Community same in Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State.
He noted that the deceased who was a former leader at Erovie community in Ozoro, also a famous hunter, was allegedly to have gone frenzied as he reportedly shot dead his son’s wife and on the course of action killed himself.
Meanwhile an eye witnesses who were on ground at the scene of the incident, were unable to identified the remote causes of what led to action taken by the man, all they have to say is that there misunderstanding between the man and his Son’s wife earlier this morning .
Also a residents of Erovie quarters confirmed to me that Aradhe/ Ovrode community people has come to inquired the remote causes of the untimely death of their daughter.
