Julen Lopetegui, the current Spanish national team coach has been appointed by real Madrid as their new coach and manager.
The Spanish coach taking Spain to the world cup will take over Santiago Bernabeu after the 2018 World Cup.
His predecessor, Zinadin Zidane just left the spanish club side after winning an unprecedented three champion’s league at a row.
A statement from the club says: “Julen Lopetegui will be the coach of Real Madrid after the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
It was announced by Real Madrid’s CF that Lopetegui will coach the club for the next three seasons.
Julen Lopetegui has been the national team coach for Spain for two years and will join Real Madrid after the participation of the Spanish team at the world cup.
A trusted youth coach, he has also managed Spain at Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, though he failed to win any silverware at FC Porto and was sacked.
It’s great expectation from everyone if he will head to the Spanish club as a world cup winner, considering the fact that Spanish national team is a combination of great talents.
