The media team of the Super Eagles of Nigeria have released the list of players invited for the team’s friendlies against Poland and Serbia come 23rd and 27th march in preparation for the world cup in Russia.

 As the buildup games ahead of the Russia 2018 World Cup are getting closer, fans and media practitioners are somewhat eager to know the players that will represent the country.

Thus there has been speculations in some quarters suggesting various player names that the Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, is set to invite to the team.

But a statement made available via the Super Eagles’ official Twitter handle has warned Nigerians to “be wary of unnecessary media speculations.”

These are the first two in a list of six friendly encounters planned for the Super Eagles by the Nigeria Football Federation ahead of the 21st FIFA World Cup finals in the Russian Federation this summer.
