Germany-based forward Noah Joel Bazee and Holland-based defender Tyronne Ebuehi, who had earlier declined an invitation, will join up with the squad for the first time.

The Netherlands-born player rejected Nigeria’s invite to take part in the Russia 2018 qualifying match against Algeria, stating he wanted to ‘focus completely’ on being a cog member of Željko Petrović’s team.

And the former Gabon manager believes the move will solve his problems in the full back positions.

Nigeria’s technical adviser Gernot Rohr suggests the exciting winger has pledged his allegiance to Nigeria.

“We have found a player in Germany who was playing in the Bundesliga last year but has gone down on relegation. He is 20 years old, ” Rohr said at Tuesday’s press conference.

“He told me it’s an honour for him to come to play for the country of his father, his mother is German.

Noah-Joel Sarenren-Bazee is eligible for Nigeria through his Nigerian father. He made his debut for Hannover against Hertha Berlin in last season’s Bundesliga, before his team got relegated to Bundesliga II.
